These Terms are in Korean as the authentic text.
The laws of the Republic of Korea shall apply to the relationship between the user and the company regarding these Terms or the Service.

General Provisions
Purpose
The purpose of these Terms is to regulate matters concerning the Service use agreement and the rights and obligations of the company and the user.
Definitions
- "Terms" refers to the contents of a contract that one party has prepared in a certain format in advance to enter into a contract with multiple parties, regardless of its name, form, or scope.
- Company: Refers to 'Carewokx Inc.'. In the context of the agreement, it refers to the party that proposes the Terms as the content of the contract to the other party.
- Service: Refers to the 'CareWokx calendar' mobile application.
- User: Refers to a person who uses the service (CareWokx calendar) provided by the company (Carewokx Inc.). In the context of the agreement, it refers to the party who is proposed the Terms as the content of the contract by the company.
- Member: Refers to a user who agrees to the Terms of Service and is granted an account.
- Account: Refers to a combination of letters, numbers, etc., to identify a member.
- Social Account: Refers to a social account required for linkage to create an account for the Service. (Social accounts used: Apple Account, Google Account, Facebook Account)
- Post: Refers to various content or files, consisting of signs, words, voices, sounds, pictures, photos, videos, links, etc., that a user posts on the Service for others or themselves to see.
Changes to the Terms and Notification to Members
The company may change these Terms within a scope that does not violate relevant laws of the Republic of Korea.
If the Terms are revised or changed, the effective date, reason for revision or change (including a comparison table with the existing Terms), will be posted on the website for the duration of the revised or changed Terms, and a link to confirm the revised or changed Terms will be provided within the Service.
In the case of significant revisions or changes to the Terms that may be disadvantageous to the user, the company will give notice on the website at least 30 days in advance and individually notify them through service alerts, etc.
If the Terms are revised or changed, the company will post the revised or changed details and the Terms on the website, and if the user does not express their intention to refuse the application of the Terms within 30 days, they will be considered to have agreed to them.
If a user wishes to refuse the revised or changed Terms, they may terminate the service agreement. In this case, the company will not charge the member a penalty.
However, this shall not apply in cases where the company is unable to give notice of the revision or change of the Terms due to unavoidable circumstances, and in such a case, the company will provide a link to confirm the details on the website and within the Service.
Interpretation of the Terms
The company will not interpret the Terms differently for different users.
If the meaning of the Terms is not clear, they will be interpreted in favor of the user.
Matters not stipulated will be determined by mutual agreement between the company and the user.
Matters agreed upon differently from the Terms shall take precedence over these Terms. If the agreed-upon matter is illegal, these Terms shall take precedence.
If there are other separate Terms specific to a certain service within the Service, those separate Terms shall take precedence. Please check the announcements on the website.
Account Management Obligations
A member may not permit a third party to use their account.
A member may not transfer, sell, rent, or provide their account as collateral, etc.
A member may not use an account or social account that is not in their name.
The company is not responsible for any damage caused to the member by the above matters, except in cases where the company is at fault.
If a member becomes aware that their account or social account has been stolen or is being used by a third party, they must immediately notify the company of the fact and follow the company's instructions.
The company is not responsible for any damage to a member that occurs because they did not notify the company of the above fact or did not follow the company's instructions after notifying them. However, if the company is at fault, it shall be liable to that extent.
A member must periodically check their account and social account to prevent theft, etc., and the company may recommend that the member check their account and social account.
Service Hours and Temporary Suspension of Use, etc.
The company operates the Service so that users can use it 24 hours a day, all year round.
The company may unavoidably suspend all or part of the Service if there is a considerable operational reason, such as maintenance, inspection, replacement or failure of information and communication facilities like computers and servers, or a communication outage.
The company may modify, change, or terminate all or part of the Service if there is a considerable need to operate or improve the Service. If all or part of the Service provided for free is modified, changed, or terminated, no separate compensation will be provided unless there are special provisions in the relevant laws.
The company will provide notice well in advance in foreseeable cases, and will provide a detailed explanation afterward in unforeseeable cases.
In the event of a service suspension, the company will provide a sufficient opportunity for members to back up their information.
Provision of Information and Transmission of Advertising Information, etc.
The company may provide information necessary for the use of the Service, etc., to users by posting it on the website or a bulletin board within the Service, or by sending it to the user's email address only for non-commercial information. In this case, the user may refuse to receive it at any time.
The company may send advertising emails to members who have agreed to the 'Marketing & Promotional Consent'.
Data communication fees incurred during the use of the Service shall be borne by the user in accordance with the user agreement with the telecommunications provider they have subscribed to, and the user shall also bear any additional costs incurred from viewing included advertisements.
Ownership of Copyrights, etc., and Management of Posts and Content
The company holds the copyrights and other intellectual property rights (hereinafter "copyrights, etc.") for works created by the company.
The user shall not copy, transmit, publish, distribute, etc., or cause a third party to do so, the company's works obtained through using the Service without the company's prior consent. However, this shall not apply when permitted by law.
The intellectual property rights, etc., for posts created and published by the user themselves belong to the user.
For the company to legally provide posts published by users through the Service, the company requires usage rights for the content, including storage, copying, modification, public transmission, display, distribution, and creation of derivative works (limited to translation) (a license with no time or regional restrictions and no separate payment). By posting, you grant these rights to the company.
The company will exercise the content usage rights granted by users in a limited way, as prescribed by the Copyright Act and other relevant laws, only for exposure within the Service, use for Service promotion, Service operation, improvement, research and development for new services, compliance with legal obligations such as web accessibility, and allowing searching, collection, and linking from external sites. If we are compelled to use your content for other purposes, we will explain it to you and obtain your prior consent.
The valuable content provided by our users may be used by the company and its partners for research and development purposes in the field of artificial intelligence technology to improve the Service and provide new services. We will do our best to provide you with more convenient and useful services through continuous research and development.
If the deletion of posts and content through the management function within the Service is not smooth, you can also request the deletion of the content through the customer center. However, for some features, deletion or making them private may be difficult, and you can check these details in the announcements or the customer center.
Prohibition and Deletion of Illegal Content
Users shall not post or provide illegal information to other users using the Service's bulletin boards or other features, if the information falls under any of the following:
Such accounts will be restricted. Information with content that distributes, sells, rents, or publicly displays obscene signs, words, sounds, images, or videos.
Information with content that publicly exposes facts or false facts for the purpose of slandering a person, thereby harming the reputation of others.
Information with content that repeatedly reaches a person and causes fear or anxiety through signs, words, sounds, images, or videos.
Information with content that damages, destroys, alters, forges, or interferes with the operation of information and communication systems, data, or programs without a legitimate reason.
Information with content that is for-profit and provides harmful media to minors under the "Juvenile Protection Act" of the Republic of Korea without fulfilling legal obligations such as verifying the age of the recipient or displaying warnings.
Information with content that constitutes a gambling act prohibited by law.
Information with content that trades personal information in violation of laws concerning personal information protection.
Information with methods or blueprints for manufacturing firearms or explosives (including objects with explosive power that can cause harm to life or body).
Information with content that leaks state secrets, such as secrets classified by law.
Information with content that performs acts prohibited by the "National Security Act" of the Republic of Korea.
Advertising information for goods or services prohibited by law.
Other information with content that is intended for or encourages/aids a crime.
Users shall not post or provide any of the following unethical information to other users using the Service's bulletin boards or other features:
The corresponding account may be subject to temporary measures or restrictions. Posts or content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or malicious, including comments or descriptions related to religion, race, sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity, or any other specific group.
Realistic depictions of people or animals being killed, mutilated, tortured, or abused, or content that promotes violence.
Incendiary religious commentary or inaccurate or misleading quotations from scripture.
Harmful concepts that exploit or profit from recent events or current affairs such as violent conflicts, terrorist attacks, or epidemics.
Content that includes any form of cruelty, such as threats and bullying.
Posts published by abnormal use of Service functions, such as by using automated means, or posts that do not align with the purpose of the Service, cause inconvenience to other users' normal use of the Service and interfere with the smooth provision of the Service. Therefore, the corresponding account may be subject to temporary measures or restrictions.
We promise to treat your content, which contains various information and opinions, with care. However, if a post you have published violates relevant laws, these Terms, the post operating policy, the terms of each individual service, or operating policies, we may be forced to make it private, delete it, or refuse to post it. However, this does not mean that the company has an obligation to review all content.
Temporary Measures
If the company determines that information posted on the Service's bulletin boards, etc., infringes upon the rights of others, such as by invading privacy or defaming them, it may temporarily block access to the information (hereinafter "temporary measures") at its own discretion.
The company will make the user aware of the temporary measure by, for example, making an announcement on the bulletin board where the information was posted.
Request for Deletion of Information, etc.
The company operates a customer center that receives requests for the suspension of posts at the request of any claimant of rights infringement, and the resumption of the post at the original poster's objection. Upon receiving a request, the company will take necessary measures such as deletion or temporary measures without delay and will immediately notify the applicant and the information poster. In this case, the company will make the user aware of the measures taken by, for example, announcing the fact on the bulletin board.
Membership Withdrawal and Loss of Qualification, etc.
A member may withdraw from membership at any time by applying for the termination of the service agreement, and in this case, the company will process it in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
Upon termination of the service agreement, all of the member's data, including all posts attached to the member's account, will be destroyed and cannot be recovered, except in cases where the company is allowed to retain the member's information in accordance with relevant laws and the privacy policy. However, even in this case, posts such as comments registered by other members on shared bulletin boards or saved separately will not be deleted, so please make sure to delete them before applying for termination.
If a user fails to comply with relevant laws, these Terms, other separate terms within the Service, or operating policies, the company may confirm the user's related actions and, based on the confirmation result, may warn the user about their use of the Service or restrict their use by partially or completely, temporarily or permanently suspending it. In addition, in unavoidable circumstances where the complete maintenance of the service agreement with the user is no longer expected despite such use restrictions, the company may terminate the service agreement with the user.
In cases where service use is immediately and permanently suspended due to a clear violation of law, all points and other benefits obtained through the use of the Service will be forfeited, and no separate compensation will be provided.
Privacy Protection
Privacy Protection
The company complies with the "Personal Information Protection Act" of the Republic of Korea regarding the collection, use, provision, and other processing and protection of personal information.
The user's rights, such as viewing, correcting, and suspending the processing of personal information, are protected in accordance with the "Personal Information Protection Act."
Consent to Access Permissions
When the company needs access permissions to information stored on the user's mobile device and to functions installed on the mobile device (hereinafter "access permissions") to provide the Service to the user, the company will inform the user of the following items so that the user can clearly understand them and obtain the user's consent:

In cases where the access permission is not absolutely necessary to provide online services, etc.:
- The items of information and functions that require access permission
- The reason why access permission is needed
- The fact that the user may not agree to the access permission
The company will not refuse to provide a service to a user on the grounds that the user does not agree to an access permission that is not absolutely necessary to provide the service, etc.
Liability for Damages
If a user suffers damage due to an act by the company that violates the "Personal Information Protection Act," the user may claim damages from the company. However, this shall not apply if the company proves that it has no intention or negligence.
If personal information is lost, stolen, leaked, forged, altered, or damaged due to the company's willful misconduct or gross negligence, and the user has suffered damage, the user may claim damages up to an amount not exceeding three times the amount of the damage. However, this shall not apply if the company proves that it has no willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Notwithstanding the above, if personal information is lost, stolen, leaked, forged, altered, or damaged due to the company's willful misconduct or negligence, the user may claim damages up to a reasonable amount not exceeding 3 million KRW. However, this shall not apply if the company proves that it has no willful misconduct or negligence.
If a user suffers damage due to the company's willful misconduct or negligence in using the Service, the company will compensate the user's damages in accordance with relevant laws.
However, the company is not liable for damages that occur because the company cannot provide the Service due to a natural disaster or force majeure, or because the user cannot use the Service due to their willful misconduct or negligence.
Even if the company is liable for damages, it is not liable for special damages or indirect damages caused by circumstances that could not have been foreseen or special circumstances, or for other punitive damages, unless there are special provisions in relevant laws.
The company is not liable for damages caused by the exchange of opinions, transactions, etc., between the user and another member or between the user and a non-member, or for damages caused by the user relying on content such as other people's posts on the Service, unless there are special circumstances.
Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between the company and a user regarding the use agreement for the Service, they shall resolve the dispute through mutual consultation.
If a dispute is not resolved in accordance with the above, the app market operator or the user may apply for mediation to the Korea Copyright Commission under the "Copyright Act," the Content Dispute Resolution Committee under the "Content Industry Promotion Act," the Electronic Document and Electronic Transaction Dispute Mediation Committee under the "Framework Act on Electronic Documents and Electronic Transactions," or the Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission under the "Framework Act on Consumers," etc.
Jurisdiction
If a dispute arises between you and the company regarding these Terms or the Service, the handling of the dispute shall follow the procedures specified in the "Civil Procedure Act" of the Republic of Korea.
A lawsuit regarding the service use agreement between the company and a consumer shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court with jurisdiction over the consumer's address at the time the lawsuit is filed. If the consumer has no address, it shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court with jurisdiction over their place of residence. However, if the consumer's address or place of residence is not clear at the time the lawsuit is filed, the court with jurisdiction shall be determined in accordance with the "Civil Procedure Act."
